Exodus 07:35
Exodus Once, long ago, we had a vision - and it was sad sad like the wings of song it took so long... Spawned in hand, a star growing, it seemed so far far it seemed till yesterday we turned away... Touch this side for the last time slowly, we cross the line winds cold for one more day We're taught to pray Light, Light, Light, Light Light burns the hands of the innocent Night, Night, Night, Night Night turns cold Fight, Fight, Fight for a handful of sand in the exodus Lied to, undermined, controlled Cower in the sight of a flower Holding onto dreams that shower Life and death combined Conception intertwined Power it was born without love Hold on - we dream of an end, mortality, look at me, finality, bow! Light, Light, Light, Light Light burns the hands of the innocent Night, Night, Night, Night Night turns cold Fight, Fight, Fight, Fight Fight for a handful of sand in the exodus Lied to, undermined and controlled Cower in the sight of a flower Hold onto dreams that shower Life and death combined Conception intertwined Power born without love Holding on - we dream of an end, mortality, look at me, finality, bow! Frozen Eye 05:02
The Frozen Eye Bracing for winter Blood in the trees Thaw by the atom Now it is free Readings begin to place more concrete importance on the findings Intelligence, cold - uncompromised by emotion - define blindness The signal is given - billions are driven from their minds in the blink of his eye Single in conciousness - blessed to be alive I suppose I should lay down and die It's the frozen eye It's the frozen eye Don't ask why the eye envelops the sky It's the frozen eye It's the frozen eye Don't ask why the eye envelops the sky What did he tell you? What do you see? It said Love is a concept that is strange to me Feelings begin when dark matter is thinned by the hybrid The being that burned four thousand years of the learn-ed words are lies yeah The signal is given - billions are driven from their minds in the blink of his eye Single in conciousness - blessed to be alive I suppose I should lay down and die It's the frozen eye It's the frozen eye Don't ask why the eye envelops the sky It's the frozen eye It's the frozen eye Don't ask why the eye envelops the sky They had a world You know it Rapture is hurled below it They learned to fly away that night through a hole in fabric of time space and light cries of the souls were heard that day existence, gone with gravity depravity was made cold that night when the frozen eye took form and was given sight it's the frozen eye the frozen eye the frozen eye the frozen eye Bracing for winter Blood in the trees Thaw by the atom Now it is free The sins of all those whose beliefs were imposed now divining On poles in the valley of our dismembered woes now aligning

about

Proceed with caution... With the touch of a button you will have access to a powerful device, a vessel that will transport you to the farthest reaches of the space-time continuum and beyond. It is a direct conduit to the limits of our concept of the plane of existence, in which the traveler will confront the overwhelming terrors of the vast, darkest distances of outer space, and the deeper dread of the still darker recesses of inner space.
As you submerge into this all-enveloping sonic brew, the mind’s eye conjures images of the fantastical and the foreboding, veiled glimpses of outlandish beings and unearthly realms.

If the legendary minds of science fiction - Verne; Wells; Lovecraft; Asimov; Heinlein; Bradbury - had gotten their hands on electric guitars, drums and 100-watt Marshalls, they’d have sounded like Space Metal. Imagine their creations of existential horror and the forbidding cosmos, told not via manuscript, but through screaming humbuckers and glowing power tubes. Amidst the bludgeoning musical arrangements contained herein, you will discover one mind-bending tale after another, visions to rival the nightmares of those pioneering authors: an immense, glacial ocular orb that enslaves the minds of the masses; a consciousness, possibly human, on a distant planetoid, slowly succumbing to a powerful, otherworldly opiate; an agonizing death in the icy grip of the unforgiving vacuum of space; a monstrously mutating arthropod. These chronicles of the fantastic, the grotesque, and more await the astute listener within.

There has never existed a cultural era better suited to a misspent youth than the cluster of years in the late '70s/early '80s, when all of pop culture seemed submerged in sci-fi and horror; when, best of all, the seminal works of classic heavy metal - spinning, as they should, on crackling slabs of vinyl - blasted out of fake-wood-grain speakers sitting on shag carpeting. Space Metal provides you with a time machine, the controls set to that bygone era, those halcyon days of apocalyptic wastelands and ripping guitar solos, steel swords and sweet smoke.

Despite the band’s uncanny ability to instantly transport the listener to ground zero of classic metal’s glory years, this is no nostalgia act, no group of mere historians simply preserving a style of music; this is vital, original heavy rock, inspired and informed by the very best of the genre’s bombastic history. It’s all here, fused by force in the aural assault of Space Metal, and captured the way the Elder Gods intended: slammed onto two-inch magnetic tape with a vengeance, in a vintage '70s analog recording studio. Why does this album sound like the real thing? Because it IS the real thing.

The five musicians of Space Metal have united into one biomechanical hive-mind, with a singular creative purpose; while working with the deadly precision of a finely-tuned machine, they never abandon the musical soul of the defiant humanity within, fighting to remain.

At track one of this album, you approach the event horizon of a black hole, and just as with the inexorable pull of that dark cosmic maw, you will be drawn beyond the point of no return, into the ultimate density of Space Metal’s crushing sonic singularity. There is no hope of escape. Give yourself over to it, and the musical explorations of this band will strain the limits of your mind AND your eardrums - in equal, unrelenting measure.

This is colossally heavy. This is boundlessly expansive. This is SPACE METAL.
